Product Development | Content Operations | Streaming Media

Hi, I’m Noah Schwartz

I’m a video product manager with a deep passion for streaming, content delivery, and building tools that make digital workflows more efficient. I’ve spent my career launching OTT apps, designing scalable systems, and helping teams move faster and smarter across the ever-changing landscape of digital video.

My Career Journey

I got my start in New York, interning at MTV Networks, which turned into my first real job in media. I worked in motion graphics and post-production, learning how to create fast, compelling content in a high-energy environment. It was where I realized I loved working at the intersection of creativity and technology.

Like many others, I hit a rough patch during the 2008 recession. After being laid off, I pieced together freelance projects and worked part-time at the Apple Store, doing whatever I could to stay close to the media world while sharpening my technical and communication skills.

Things really clicked when I joined Deluxe. I moved into digital operations and helped lead the company’s transition from physical tape to file-based delivery. I worked on large-scale workflow automation, implemented transcoding systems, and developed smarter ways to manage and move content. That work eventually helped lead to the acquisition of our division by Adstream.

From there, I joined Ovation TV, where I helped launch Journy.tv, a standalone AVOD app focused on travel and lifestyle content. We distributed across Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, mobile platforms, and FAST partners like Samsung TV Plus. It was my first real experience navigating platform certifications, shaping product strategy, and managing an app through its full lifecycle.

After that, I joined Tennis Channel, where I worked on international SVOD products and supported both domestic and global FAST channels. I collaborated across product, content, and engineering teams to improve how we packaged, scheduled, and delivered streaming video across multiple platforms

In 2023, I joined Nexstar Digital as a Video Product Manager, where I support a wide range of streaming efforts across the company’s growing portfolio. This includes:

  • Helping launch and manage over 70 OTT apps across Nexstar’s owned and operated stations and broadcast properties on Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, and Samsung TV

  • Contributing to the NewsNation OTT and CTV app by helping improve video playback, navigation, and the overall user experience for live and on-demand content

  • Supporting FAST channels like The Hill and assisting with the infrastructure behind future streaming products and platform partnerships

  • Improving our web video player to deliver smoother playback, better user experiences, and more consistent integration across sites

  • Assisting with new streaming services for local stations to help centralize content, make collaboration easier across markets, and give teams more tools to create and share video

I work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, editorial, design, and support to make sure our streaming products serve both viewers and the people behind the scenes. Whether it’s automating a workflow, optimizing a video experience, or troubleshooting a launch, I’m always focused on building things that are useful, scalable, and enjoyable to use.

At the core, I’m passionate about making great digital products and removing friction wherever I can. I enjoy solving problems, improving systems, and building things that help content reach people more effectively.

A Bit About Me

Outside of work, I’m a proud girl dad to two amazing daughters and married to my favorite human. We live in the South Bay of Los Angeles, soaking up the beachy vibes, chasing sunshine, and constantly sweeping sand out of the car.

Most weekends, you’ll find me coaching youth sports, playing a game of pickup, or trying to teach my kids how to hit a backhand. I’m into just about every sport with a ball — Tennis, Pickleball, Ping Pong, Basketball, Baseball, and Golf are all in the rotation. I’m also a diehard Knicks and Mets fan, which means I’m no stranger to heartbreak but forever loyal.

Let’s Connect

Whether you want to talk streaming, compare workflows, or swap stories about balancing work and parenting, I’m always up for a good conversation. If you’re working on something interesting in the digital video world or just want to say hi, don’t be shy.

Let’s build cool stuff and keep pushing what streaming can do.
